A flag with three different shades of grey, is raising, waving and
falling on a hill, away from human settlements but very close to some
trenches built during the First World War.
It’s an unknown flag, without history and name, whose colours nobody wants or intends to recognize (*).
And maybe, thanks to its unclear references and expectations, this flag
keeps its presence measuring itself with terrestrial elements and
finding an appropriate dimension inside a natural environment where
borders and memberships have no reason to exist.
(*) only with a few rare exceptions, the color grey is never used by countries for their official national flags
